ไม้ต้น สูงประมาณ 10 ม. ใบเดี่ยว ขอบหยักลึก 5-7 แฉก ช่อดอกเกิดที่ยอด ห้อยลง มีขนสีน้ำตาลแดง ดอกสีเหลืองส้ม ตรงกลางสีส้มแดง ผลสีน้ำตาล ออกดอกและติดผลช่วงเดือนมกราคม-มีนาคม
Deciduous trees 10-15 m tall. Leaves simple, spiral, palmately lobed, 20-30 by 20-30 cm. Inflorescences terminal, pendulous, 10-30 cm long. Flowers campanulate, 5-lobed, pale yellow with pinkish red tint at the base inside. Fruit a follicle, oblong, villous. Flowering Dec.-Jan.
